Or it shows a growing trend of Republicans struggling in the upcoming midterms. They were expected to lose by 3% in Virginia. They lost by 9%. They were supposed to keep their majority in congress. They lost it. They've lost some 33 state level elections, including some in districts that went majorly for Trump. They're only going to hang on to Alabama because it's probably the most red state in the country, and there's a loon out there pushing for more of these type of Republican candidates across the country in primaries against establishment Republicans.
