There are children who see themselves and identify with characters in the media they consume instead of merely watching it. Seeing their joy brings us joy in turn. What else is there to understand?

Thank you. >_> I was starting to feel like I was crazy or speaking another language or something...

It's not that, it's that they disagree.

This whole idea of "You can ONLY identify with people just like yourself!" is a pretty divisive idealogy that SJWs like.

What's wrong with little Asian girls liking Luke Skywalker?

Or Native American girls liking Lando?

NO! the SJW says, that's wrong.

I kinda disagree, I think it's damaging. I mean when I was growing up one of my childhood heroes was He-Man and the thought of "Well he's white and you're not!" never even crossed my mind.

Hell the Biker Mice From Mars were MICE and people still got attached to them, no one had to be a mouse to identify with them.

Tomb Raider's fanbase is like 78% male, they identify just fine with Lara Croft (3 different incarnations of her) without having a crisis over gentials.

That's the oppoistion people have to SJW's TC that you handwave, what you're actually enjoying is soft segregation and what you're actually opposing is real equality and inclusiveness.

^ Hey now that's completely unfair.
