The mere fact that as a sequel to the movie where there was a RETURN of the JEDI and the Empire was decimated, we have just gone right back to the beginning and things are bleaker than ever is bad writing. The overall concept of TFA was horrible. However I do lay out what would have been perfect in this thread. It's not being literal with the movie title. It just refers to Luke's story being triumphant against Palpatine in the setting of after Order 66. If you actually pay attention to the "poor writing", Luke then spends his time trying to rebuild the Jedi order and fails. Meanwhile, the remnants of the Empire went into hiding to amass numbers again with Project Resurrection, while the new Republic sat around doing nothing for decades. They made the mistake of thinking the Empire was done for good.
