It was slow and boring and I'd already played a bunch of RPGs that clearly took the concept and developed on it. Those sorts of games require a certain amount of nostalgia goggles to get over the dated game mechanics. It's like when people say Superman is a boring superhero because he's "generic". Well no shit he seems generic when he was the original superhero and every incarnation of a superhero thereafter is based on his template.
