This is a restaurant in Olympia WA. I have gone there twice, both times because I received a coupon for $20 off if you buy two dinners.

Now last year, I was not very impressed, the prices where quite high and the sirlion steak (for about $25) was not very good (I make better NY strip steaks at home, let alone rib eyes, for a very small fraction of the cost).

I got 2 meals then though, the steak and fries and a Shrimp and potato dish.

The shrimp and potato diesh was also mid 20's but was quite good, and worth it. I even said to myself I might go back sometime without a coupon and get that again.

So when I did get the coupon I was all set to go. Was gonna bring a friend but they bugged out at the last minute.

So I get there and the menu is now half the size it used to be. They no longer have the shrimp and potato dish, and the steak dish was 29$ or so. They did have a fish and chips dish for about $23, which I got as well.

Neither was very good at all. The steak was tiny, and flavorless, I had to use A1....which is insane. Seriously if you can't cook a steak well enough not to need A1 sauce, you shouldn't be charging about $80 a pound (was a 7 once steak..might have been 6 ounces).

The cod wasn't horrid, but...for $11 at Pints and Quarts at the mall you can get WAY better fish and chips, and 4 much larger pieces as well (also better fries).

The place though is packed, possibly due to having a view of the sound out their window. I just don't get why people go back there though. Way better options for way less, or you can easily bbq your own steaks at home and have them taste way better.

Such a disappointment.
