(Since blah blah Gant plot contrivances) Clearly the defendant having the last testimony is one of the marks of a bad case! On average I'm not a huge fan of the defendant testifying. Such testimonies are often kinda awkward because the prosecutor should be the one cross-examining them (the defendant is generally gonna want to make himself/herself look good, potentially even lying to do so, and the prosecutor should be shooting those lies down), but that's never what AA does (which is justified gameplaywise, mind). Sometimes it absolutely works, though, like in 6-2. I similarly know why Engarde couldn't testify, but it's a damn shame he doesn't.
