No, I took issue with you falling into a trap of painting whole populations with views they don't have based on incorrect reasoning... And you don't seem to realize why that's a bad thing. You're the one talking about "progressives" I'm not even entirely sure what "progressives" even means universially as progression is debatable. The Rightest Wing political groups in the UK are more left wing than the Democrats in America.... So by that logic is UKIP and BNP progressive? I mean Hitler was the father of Animal Cruelty laws, was he progressive? I don't know or really care. Progressive feels like a buzzword that can mean anything you want it too.
