I would probably threaten first although, to be fair that does give a potential attacker warning but it heads off potential problems. Even if you legally kill an intruder in your home, you're still going to deal with an investigation not to mention the possibility of personal trauma. knivesX2004 posted... Damn look at all the cold blooded badasses in here who have never had to kill someone before. I bet it's really easy though and you'll feel super great about doing it because it was self defense. Just like all those soldiers with PTSD and shooter's guilt. Those are issues *after* the fact. You'd be so keyed up that you'd probably do it purely by instinct.
