Topic	Been playing Pokemon Gen 1 in its original Japanese. Here's what I've learned.

One thing I had my mind blown away by was realizing that "Purin" (Jigglypuff), when pronounced PROPERLY unlike how most English speakers are inclined to say it, makes WAY more sense and is surprisingly NOT as lazy as "eh we'll just call it Jigglypuff I guess" but it really took me a few times saying it out loud before I "got" what it's MEANT to be for real. Little moments like that make the reading hardships worth it. Yeah, the announcer in Smash Melee pronounces it as "purrin", and I always thought that was a weird name.
