Depends on the item. exactly. and the comparative price to the name brand(s). for instance mayonaise (something I don't eat a lot of) pretty much tastes the same no matter who made it. i think it is funny when people crack on people that buy store brands. My parents buy a lot of store brand stuff, while some people would laugh and call them broke they have way more zeros in their bank account and go on trips like 4-5 times a year and drive late model cars. because they are smart enough to know cream cheese is cream cheese --- p226 ...
