I was just thinking. Since a lot of the songs you want to nominate are actually re-imagined songs using themes from Mega Man, they might all actually be acceptable.

All of The Protomen stuff is fully original (though they have done covers of songs, I haven't mentioned any of those) which is the main difference between them and The Megas. They both take the same concept of "Mega Man inspired rock concept albums" and take them in different directions:

The Protomen go for depressing, 1984-styled dystopias with original albums that have nothing to do with the series other than some reused names.

The Megas directly cover songs from the games and put their own spin on them.

Both great bands aimed at the same target demographic, but radically different.

As far as I know, I'm not sure that any of the Mega Man themes have ever been released on an album have they?

1 through 6 were released in a 3-disc collection on Capcom's own record label. And unfortunately for me, Castlevania has a surprising number of disc releases:

The original version of Bloody Tears is definitely on one of those. Haven't tried tracking down the other two Castlevania songs they did, but there are a lot of albums with a lot of songs on each of them, so I'd say "almost definitely".
