Okay. I did get a little carried away in my example, but who defines what a "news story" is? I make a tumblr and post it, is that a news story? I make a tweet and it's shared... is twitter news? Fox? CNN? Are opinion shows (Sunday morning shows, round table shows) news?

Bro just stop.

This shit needs figured out.

I post an article from the KKKTimes that says all black people (something super racist and obviously not true) and it starts getting shared. By people who are disgusted and by people who support whatever I said.
Fake news? Yeah, for sure.

I post an article from RealFarmacy (they guys that are always saying 2 drops of lemon juice cures cancer and other bullshit like that) that says Marijuana helps with and cures cancer! Fake news?

I post an opinion piece from The Wall Street Journal or some other well known news paper that says (making up numbers) that The US spends 1 trillion dollars a year, but in fact we spend 1.1 trillion dollars a year. Does this require a notice by the social media platform that's being used?

I get that it's not a criminal code but it's SUPER vague.
