If an article is labeled opinion like WSJ then thats obviously an opinion piece and not a news article.

There are already laws in place about representing yourself as news if youre posting false information. And that has still allowed sites like Breitbart and NaturalNews (or whatever) to operate. The standard isnt brutal - it errs on the side of caution and in favor of the press. This is about combining that with false advertising laws on social media.


I get what you're saying. And I would be happy if Breitbart went away forever because it's a joke. I just feel like this whole bill needs explained/fleshed out more.
