I was trying to explain to her that I was trying to get directions to Rochester High. And she kept yelling at me. Then the guy came downstairs, and he grabbed the gun, I saw it and started to run. And that's when I heard the gunshot," he says. If you believe his side of the story: I believe the wife is much more at fault than the husband. If my wife starts screaming that there's a home invasion happening, you bet your ass I'm going to grab my gun and run to help her. In this heightened/adrenaline-fueled condition, you're not going to be reasonable; it's a fight-or-flight moment. Having said that, I do believe the husband is still somewhat at fault because he fired at the teenager while the teenager was running away. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
