I am also going to Europe soon. I'm visiting almost all of the same countries as you for my 30th birthday!

Have you been given any tips for staying in these countries? Or just safety in general? I would like to hear them if so.

sorry; i didn't mean to skip over this. I'm taking my trip with my university, so even though I got some basic safety tips at safety orientations (make sure your passport is always on you, don't carry too much money at once), I don't feel like my trip will probably be safer than the average person's. We're only staying in 4- and 5-star hotels, and all our activities are centered in wealthy parts of town with really high safety ratings. We're encouraged to go out to bars and stuff, but looking at websites of nearby attractions to where I'll be staying, they look pretty upscale and not really the sort of place where safety will be a foremost concern. Wish I had more to tell you :/

I'm impressed you're visiting that many countries. I sometimes wish the others I was with(my family) had done at least one side trip to somewhere outside Netherlands on that trip in 2016, but it's okay. I still had a good time doing things in Amsterdam, Haarlem, Delft, and even went to Keukenhof(a spring seasonal tulip garden between Haarlem and Delft, via taking a bus from Amsterdam's airport).

visiting that many places is cool, especially since I don't know if I'll ever have the opportunity to go again, but I'm only overseas for 30ish days, so I spend less than a week in each country, and will only visit global hubs (I'm a PoliSci major and most of my class time is going to be spent in government offices/locales). So I probably won't be getting a lot of cultural experience like I would be if I stayed longer or spent some time in smaller towns. Not that we won't be taking excursions to museums and places, of course.
