I can be in Germany in reasonable time, but Germany itself is huge... This, I practically live on the border of The Netherlands and Germany and it's still a six hours drive. I've done it before and I've travelled even further by car but Berlin is basically on the other side of Germany. Not exactly my backyard. I've always thought it to be funny that a lot of people outside Europe think everything is close, it's really not. Because some of it is.
