This, I practically live on the border of The Netherlands and Germany and it's still a six hours drive.
I've done it before and I've travelled even further by car but Berlin is basically on the other side of Germany. Not exactly my backyard. I've always thought it to be funny that a lot of people outside Europe think everything is close, it's really not.
Because some of it is. It would take about 3-5 days to drive across America or Canada. 6 hours is nothing and I've had similar length of trips.
