It's kinda weird how the people who recently argued that there can be consequences for your speech under freedom of speech are now really upset at their own logic being applied here. This isn't even as vitriolic or as dangerous as violent riots and protests when Ben Shapiro or other conservatives want to speak at a college campus.

You're comparing apples to oranges.

Those people are usually talking about some idiot going on a racist tirade and their employer wanting to disassociate with that.

These are people quietly choosing to protest a flag and not bothering anybody and the only reason anybody even cared was because conservative media flipped their shit over it.
