It's also a direct discussion off of what Caelthus said, not in response to anything you guys said. None of that has any bearing on why I dislike the show so much now. Through the first 12 episodes, I agree with you that it did a good job at building the characters and the world around them, and the show was entertaining as well. The fights were fun to watch, and the character interactions and humor on the side was fun too. But everything that I enjoyed about the first cour has completely vanished from the second, with the exception of the reunion scene in episode 15, and it's now an empty shell of its former self. Like I said before, you can have all of the world building any psychological themes you want, but if there's nothing else to keep the viewer's interest, it all goes to waste. That's what happened with Darling in the second half of the series. It lost what actually made the show entertaining in the first place, and now it's just an empty shell.
