Topic	Assuming both are consenting adults, why exactly is incest illegal?

But someone with a genetic defect that would prevent them from being a mostly autonomous member of society probably shouldn't be passing that gene around. It's reckless to do make another life that could never truly succeed on its own in the way that the average adult can.
