| HashtagTartarus 05/27/18 2:58:10 AM #21: | I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with incest (just use birth control, assuming it's heterosexual), but in practice it raises serious issues of consent. For the same reason that it's difficult to say that an adult high school student can consent to to sex with their teacher, it's difficult to say that an adult who hasn't moved out of their parents house yet can consent to sex with their parents. If anti-incest laws were simply repealed without anything to replace them, then I think we'd see a lot more disgusting situations where people are pressured in to having sex with people they depend on in a platonic capacity.
