Topic	Social anxiety just cost me a job promotion

The benefits and what not seem great, but the work itself seems mind-numbingly boring. Beyond that, there's barely any other options in the area. Ideally, I'd just move back to WA state and get my old job back, but there's far too many factors that keep me stuck in upstate NY now.
