Topic	Social anxiety just cost me a job promotion

Instead, they sat on the decision for over two weeks, in which time one of our former employees (who quit back in January) decided she didn't like her new job and reached out to interview for the "senior aide" position. I met with my boss today, who told me that the reason they picked her over me is because I was nervous in the interview and because I get too nervous when talking to parents and misbehaving children. I'm pissed about this on so many different levels that I don't even know how to process it yet... Too nervous... sounds like a poor excuse.
