Some of the stuff people are saying is bullshit or exaggerated though. I've never owned Apple products of my own but having used them a lot in school and at work, they seem like pretty high quality. They just aren't nearly high quality enough to be worth the high price or the lack of (often very basic) features. There are plenty of Android phones and Windows PCs that are overpriced or pieces of shit, you just get a way better range of choices. The bad stuff about Apple stands out because you're limited to dealing with their bullshit if you want an Apple product. At one point the appstore was better so you had better quality apps on it.
