I wouldnt worry about any kind of date timeline, that stuff will just put pressure on you. Probably better just to enjoy yourselves and do what feels right at the time. As for her feeling sorry for you, that sounds like insecurity talking. I dont know your situation but casting that kind of doubt on yourself might be a bigger obstacle than your physical condition.
