I more than understand the basic fundamentals of how most Gun's works and what to do in that scenario. Telling somebody to cower on the ground or go prone right in front of them when they have a pistol and are that close is a VERY STUPID PIECE OF ADVICE to give people. Especially people who don't understand how guns work IRL along with what ranges most Gun's are practically effective given the type, model, and how they are used by reasonably competent shooters.
