A Huntsville police spokesman said the man identified as 34-year-old Shane Ryan Sealy pushed one of the protesters, who pushed him back and knocked him to the ground, at which point Sealy allegedly produced the weapon.

Holder-Joffrion still had her eyes closed, and she said her husband, Democratic congressional candidate Peter Joffrion, didnt see a scuffle just a protester telling Sealy to leave, leave, leave, leave.

In any case, the weapon came out of the waistband.

Gun, gun, gun, gun! someone shouted in video published by WAFF 48 just as Holder-Joffrion was praying for the nations strength.

Panicked shouts drowned her out, and the camera turned from the priest to Sealy, about 15 feet from the gazebo, brandishing what appeared to be a pistol at the crowd.

I just want to say, if you're ever in a crowd of people and someone says "gun", don't drop to the ground or stay in one position. All that does is make you an easier target. Moving targets are harder to hit. Smaller targets are harder to hit. Get as much distance as possible between yourself and the shooter.

5-15' in front of the shooter isn't considered "Long Range", even for a pistol.

First off, my user name is from the Kamen Rider franchise which is part of the Tokusatsu Genre which also contains Super Sentai that Power Rangers is derived and bastardized off of.

Secondary, if you're in a desperate situation that you're looking up advice on GameFAQs.GameSpot.com / CE. Wouldn't you want that advice to actually be serious instead of a bunch of jokes?

I more than understand the basic fundamentals of how most Gun's works and what to do in that scenario.

Telling somebody to cower on the ground or go prone right in front of them when they have a pistol and are that close is a VERY STUPID PIECE OF ADVICE to give people.

Especially people who don't understand how guns work IRL along with what ranges most Gun's are practically effective given the type, model, and how they are used by reasonably competent shooters.

BAD ADVICE will get people killed, there is no need to give that away in the public sphere.
