Topic	American tipping is confusing compared to Canadian tipping

I literally write the percentage with a pen on a piece of paper after I've already paid wtf its a pending payment. if you look at your bank statement on the app or online immediately after it will say something like "waiting for final amount from merchant". After you leave they take your receipt and go back to finalize the price. It stays pending just in case the final amount needs to be challenged but if you don't challenge it they take the tip out.
