Better? I can understand more convenient, although I don't agree, but veggies do take damage from freezing, it's objectively worse.

No. They are nutritionally better almost every time. This is just because most fresh produce has traveled a great deal and isn't as fresh as you may think.

Cooking will destroy more nutrients than freezing. Use frozen and fresh, don't rely wholly on one or another. When you buy fresh make sure you're buying in season locally grown foods that will have a much shorter pick to sale timeframe.
