What I mean is thst if you ignore all of he standard GOP policy stuff, all of the extra Trump-specific stuff is just inarguably bad. For example, if youre a Trump supporter, you need to have justified to yourself why it doesnt matter that Trump bragged about sexual assault on tape. You need to justify to yourself that he lies CONSTANTLY, including about trivial things and in ways that are extremely easily disproved. You need to justify to yourself that he insulted a POW by saying that he prefers people who werent captured.

Once you can do that, its easy to keep justifying everything.

Right, and at that point the person can no longer really be considered to be genuine. That's my point. But there are some things he has done you can make a case for on some level. It's just bonkers to make a case for, and instantly defend, all of them. It doesn't matter which ones, but by now a Trump supporter has to have condemned or honestly criticised at least a couple of things he has done or they never will - their brains have fully fossilized, and they're a hopeless cause until he is out of office.
