I'm not saying that owners shouldn't have any rights here but at some point you can't expect the company to keep servicing and supporting vehicles they haven't certified. Who the fuck does Tesla sue when one of these vehicles catches fire and burns a supercharging station down? Or do you somehow still think that's Tesla's problem?

If they fail to properly notify buyers of this (which they did fail to do) then they should just take the loss. There is zero reason that Tesla couldn't notify that man when he was there, and zero reason they should not notify potential buyers. Unless, they're greedy fucks and do not want to scare away potential buyers. They should be sued for leaving this man and his family stranded without prior warning. The only reason this didn't really end up bad because he had capital.
