then its still a deflection. if Person A did something wrong and the discussion is about how that thing is wrong, don't come in and say "WELL YOU DIDN'T CARE WHEN PERSON B DID IT!"...that doesn't change that Person A did it. and if YOU personally don't care about what Person A did, pretending you care that Person B did it just to call someone out doesn't add to the debate at all. it just makes you look petty.


That's very true.

Would be lovely if everyone held "their side" to the same standards though. I wonder what our politics would be like if we did... :)
