The average person does not yield a perfectly neutral input from me, more like a 3-4 for the average person. So I always ask which scale people use, and it confuses them so I have to clarify what I mean. lol how is 3-4 ever average. at that point, 7-10 are just increasing levels of hotness with more finite differences between the points. if i want to make my rating more finite, i start using decimals, like 7.5.
