Nah, you can ask alot and get alot of answers in 13 seconds. It's really not that fast. You can ask most questions and get the answer and rewind time before you even asked the question. No pausing at all, you just don't start the actual conversation till you have already had the first 13 seconds of it 30 times or so (so half a minute later).

More importantly, you can see the reactions to questions, or statements you make. In fact, you can even do so without the other person ever knowing you were there if you wanted (for example your sitting at a table behind them, and just keep using 13 seconds to quickly ask a question etc.).

That doesn't even factor in all the things you can find out by just forcing it in 13 seconds (grab someones purse/wallet and look through it, then rewind time before you did any of that (but you still have the info) etc.

You can also keep trying to pick pocket or steal things, and only actually do it if you get away with it etc.

Also with such power you could simulate tons of other powers, and make people think you have them. You could pretend to be able to read minds for instance, to be able to see through objects etc. You can also cheat and use things like google etc to answer any question google could answer in 13 seconds lol...by just blatantly pulling out your cell phone and googling the answer, then rewinding to before you did that (easy win on Jepordy unless they confiscate phones lol).

2 minutes though would almost require you to save the ability until 2 minutes till midnight, so you would have another 2 minutes right away to use in an emergency. So you would always have to do your gambling in the last 2 minutes (24 hour casino's). it could still work and you would still end up rich, but yeah, unlimited 13 seconds is way better.

In most situations, being able to reverse time 13 seconds will protect you from any serious injury or death etc, your largest danger actually is doing something different after reversing time 13 seconds, that causes you to die faster (in that 13 seconds) since you are powerless at that point.

If you wanted to kill someone for instance, with this power, set a trap where if they move they will die, wait 13 seconds after the trap is turned on etc, and then shoot them. If they reverse time and move, they die..and can't reverse time again.

Still as long as nobody knows you have the power (which would only happen if you told someone), you are almost impossible to kill. Large scale disasters though, nukes, earthquakes, bombs etc....could still basically kill you.

Then again, enough money makes you very hard to kill anyway, and you can get the money easily with either method. The ability to redo things, re-experience things etc, unlimited times though, that is the true gold of the 13 second ability. It actually lets you basically get 13 seconds for every 1 real second. So you could spend 4 hours practicing a song and it will seem like you mastered it in 20 minutes. It's basically groundhogs day, but in VERY short intervals and without being stuck in an endless loop.

In fact, 13 seconds is kind of a safety measure, as longer time periods, without being able to use it again (thus going back in time eventually) until you catch back up till when you used it, could easily lead to death (since one small change by you, could lead to your death in many ways if you jumped back 30 minutes for instance).
