Continuity in this show just isn't a thing.
There is technically 3-4 continuities. That's literally more than the MCU.
There is; - The original series storyline. The Connors won the lottery, Dan survived his heart attack. - The series finale storyline. The Connors didn't win the lottery, and Dan died. Becky is with David and Mark is with Darlene. Beverly is straight and Jackie is gay. - The reboot stroyline. The Connors didn't win the lottery, Mark was with Darlene, Becky was with Mark, Beverly is gay, Jackie is straight, and Dan didn't die from his heart attack. - The reboot reboot storyline. Roseanne is dead. This might actually just be a continuation of the latter, though, it's not clear yet.
Just so you know, a "reboot" is when something starts over again from the beginning, but with a new storyline. It's not a continuation.
I mean, technically, it could be a reboot, since it means restarting something, regardless of if it's a continuation or not, but it doesn't really matter. What would you call it? A continuation?
