My thought is that as long as you're both out of highschool, anything within 5 years is fine. if your out of highschool, literally anything is ok as long as both are out of highschool. when you become an adult, you can date anyone. age gaps are only for teenagers. the differences in maturity slow down and stop being relevent after a certain age. a 14 year old should not date an 18 year old. but a 20 year old can date a 40 year old if they want. or a 35 year old dating a 62 year old. it opens up and you can do anything. only kids care about age gaps I think one of my grandparents was grandma 18 grandpa 30 when they met. if they had followed your rules I wouldnt exist ...
