You may be wondering why I decided to put this up when a real Character Battle is about to go up and will overshadow the heck out of this. The answer is easy: I do what I want and ain't nothing gonna stop me. 1. Everyone gets 10 nominations. 2. Teams will be randomized. Some exceptions will be made for pairings that have extreme series overlap (like for example, Link/Ganondorf) because the contest is more fun if different series and fanbases are overlapping. Those adjustments will also be randomized. 3. It's randomized, so don't like, take things too seriously. 4. Bracket will be 128 characters for 64 teams. Thinking two matches a day for R1 (and maybe R2). Not sure on whether or not to make polls the focus. Are those still easy to cheat? That's about it. Hoping that people feel incentivized to nominate some of their more obscure favorites due to the format. Who knows - maybe your obscure JRPG pick will be paired up with Phoenix Wright and have a chance of going far.
