This could be fun. Simple concept; every match is 2 v 2. You may be wondering why I decided to put this up when a real Character Battle is about to go up and will overshadow the heck out of this. The answer is easy: I do what I want and ain't nothing gonna stop me.

1. Everyone gets 10 nominations.
2. Teams will be randomized. Some exceptions will be made for pairings that have extreme series overlap (like for example, Link/Ganondorf) because the contest is more fun if different series and fanbases are overlapping. Those adjustments will also be randomized.
3. It's randomized, so don't like, take things too seriously.
4. Bracket will be 128 characters for 64 teams. Thinking two matches a day for R1 (and maybe R2). Not sure on whether or not to make polls the focus. Are those still easy to cheat?

That's about it. Hoping that people feel incentivized to nominate some of their more obscure favorites due to the format. Who knows - maybe your obscure JRPG pick will be paired up with Phoenix Wright and have a chance of going far. Or maybe he gets paired up with another obscure JRPG dude and goes out in R1 Chester-style. Anything is possible!*

Decided to throw support to five already mentioned characters and five of my own...eccentric choices.

And before anyone asks, no, I have no idea who Miyako is. Her game's Wiki just included the longest run-on sentence about Pachinko I ever saw:

Pachinko: She uses her specially made pachinkos which she hides in her bossom as a trump card against enemies that she needs to hit her opponents at a certain range it is mostly used for convenience and surprise attacks but even though the pachinkos are found out it can still be used flexibly like when she fought Kokoro, when her pachinkos didn't work on her she threw a pachinko up and threw another one straight at her even when Kokoro figured out the plan, Miyako instead used the momentum of the pachinkos itself rather than the relying on the pachinkos
