Topic	Why is sound quality in modern movies so unbalanced??

Im essentially unable to watch disc-based movies on my TV because I constantly have to adjust the volume or the loudness bothers my family members in other rooms, plus its just uncomfortable to get blasts of effects / music / noise that isnt dialogue while straining to hear the characters talk. All the movies Ive watched at home lately have been TV broadcasts or downloads, because if Im going to be stuck watching it on my computer with headphones, of course Im not going to bother going out to buy the disc when in 10 minutes I can have any movie I want ready to view without moving from my desk. <cite>renasunflash posted [p:910386221] in Why is sou...
