I think it stems from evolution. Rewind the clock thousands of years. Males that fucked other males didn't have kids and died younger (Aids and whatnot) Society had minimal ideas about diseases and such. And somehow forming tribes with the belief in the supernatural allowed said tribes to survive more and have more offspring than those that didn't. So religion was born. I think "don't buttfuck other men." was just good advice that humans' 3,000 year old unconcious brains and DNA was trying to process and so we evolved to put it in our religious beliefs. Hence why it is alongside "don't eat shellfish in the desert. Don't touch chicks during their period." That was just good advice for society at the time.
