It's not really "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" if it's not about a high school girl dealing with high school problems, "but she's a witch" though. At it's core Sabrina the Teenage Witch is a comedy above all else.
This is a "gritty reboot" that's not really the same show at all but is using the same name purely for marketing purposes.
Yeah, this show starts off with Sabrina as an adult, just 18 and got kicked out of her house, and was stripping to support herself. She is in a open, three way relationship with a guy and a girl, and gets jealous / angry when the guy sleeps with her friend.
She doesn't realize she is a witch and has powers and turns him into a cat by accident and freaks out, calling her aunt who informs her she is actually a witch. She grabs her "cat" and heads to her Aunts house to figure out what is going on.
Meanwhile, she had a stalker who sensed she was a witch and had nefarious plans for her, who follows Sabrina (After torturing and killing her girl friend to get the info he needed). He takes a form that he knows will look appealing to Sabrina and pretends to be a young warlock, getting her to fall for him.
The aunt figures out what is going on though and tries to warn Sabrina but the warlock intercepts her, kills her and takes her place. So currently the warlock is switching forms between the aunt and Sabrina's new boyfriend (who the cat hates).
Pretty dark over all, not sure if kids should watch this.

Totally real, but they don't actually show her stripping, they just show the place she strips at, also they only imply that the GF gets tortured...so meh. They should really go all the way if they are gonna go dark. ---
