She was absolutely horrified, terribly apologetic, but handled it professionally. She got me some towels so I could clean myself up, then we had dinner and everything else was fine. By the end of the evening, we were all laughing about it. She had never spilled a drink on anyone, and I have never had one spilled on me before. The manager comped out meal and the server got most of the meal's value as a tip because of it. Shit happens, people make mistakes.
