of course most of them have hdmi ports, mught have a display ports, have an actual usb ports for a mouse, a lot of tablets can't use a mouse at all

chromebooks are pretty good for what they can do but overall they're not as productive as a windows laptop
but the main advantages is: the OS they use is lightweight enough that it works reasonably well compared to windows 10, they're incredibly cheap, a 400 dollar one is going to be more than good enough for most anything you can do on a chromebook
proper keyboard, some can flip 360 with a touch screen to use in tablet mode
full sized hdmi/ethernet (some models)
usb ports
upwards of 8 hours of battey life

downside is you'll be tied to the google eco system or certain apps and it is not a full desktop experience so no full office, photoshop, video editing, games like proper windows ones

you can also just look into installing a linux distro and get a full desktop experience there
