Drac does seem to have tsundere feelings for Xander as he completely lets himself go after losing Xander as his manservant. Afterwards Xander fights through Drac's control over him and Drac ends up respecting him as a person. Is it a metaphor for gay love and abusive relationships? Most definitely.
