Much work wasnt put into the action sequences, and if you REALLY pay attention, you can see dropped frames and very choppy animation all over the place. Its because the character designs are SO highly detailed, you can pause the screen at almost any moment, screen cap it, and then show it to any of your friends or your mom or something and say this show was beautifully made. I dont think it is. It saddens me that the new season of Pokmon, or the very fluid style of Steven Universe gets shafted all the time because people want their anime to look like anime, and think THAT is good animation, when actual animation has smear frames and squash and stretch all over the place. Oh well, guess Ill be in the minority of people who actually like the work being put into newer cartoons. Or even fucking Ren and Stimpy, which famously had VERY varied facial expressions.
