Topic	I just ate some four year old MRE bread

Granted, when I was eating them there wasn't a lot of options, but still, they aren't bad. All I've ever heard about MRE's is how they taste like shit and ironically make you not shit. I should pick up a few. I think the problem is, when you're eating them in the military it's the only option, so get can become bitter towards them, and sure it's not restaurant quality food, but it's better tasting than say a Hot Pocket Ehh, that depends on the MRE. The myth comes from the fact that when the military has to eat them, they're in the field, and honestly most people I the field don't hydrate nearly as much as they should. That's what clogs up all the soldiers/marines/etc... not the MRE.
