Topic	Does the new generation give Jimi Hendrix enough credit/respect?

He was highly prasied in his time for being decades ahead of the curve and was pretty much worshipped by high scale music fans/supporters/historians. But the keyword there is "was" No one born since 1989 seems to mention his name and the people who do talk about him are dying 40,000 by the day with no reinforcements. Do you think he is doomed to become a footnote in entertainment history?
