| Topic | Ok ce i want to get into fire emblem but I dont know where to start |
| Calwings 12/31/18 10:44:55 AM #11: | One of the GBA games, Path of Radiance, or Awakening. Blazing Blade (the one just called "Fire Emblem" outside of Japan because it was the first one we got) and Path of Radiance have the best story and overall experience IMO, but their difficulty levels sometimes catch newcomers off guard. Awakening is one of the easiest in the series (due to having casual mode for no permadeath) and is great for newcomers to learn the ins and outs, but it still has a pretty solid story too. Sacred Stones falls in the middle, not as easy as Awakening or as difficult as Blazing Blade or Path of Radiance. Avoid Shadow Dragon (too barebones and boring) or any of the Japan-only games (too difficult for a newcomer), and don't play Echoes as your first one because it's so different from the rest of the series that it's not really a good representation of the series as a whole. --- "Someday I too will fly... and find you again!" https://imgur.com/UvvIGAm ...
