They're cool until you realize that most older arcade games are pretty trash. I wouldn't go regularly but every now is fun
Depends on the one you go to. I've been to ones all over the country. The one in Phoenix was garbage. Dallas has one or two decent ones. Rhode Island has a pretty good one.
I think it depends on the games they have. Some of the old beat em ups were good. I usually like to play those and Wrestlefest, TMNT, Simpsons, XMen. The good 2 player games. My wife plays those too. I wouldn't say all old games were trash. Which barcade did you go to?
I've gone to some in Michigan and Chicago but I think a problem with them is that a lot of the cabinets are old as hell so the buttons or sticks aren't the best quality. For example, I tried playing NBA Jam with my buddy and I couldn't move up at all when picking a team.
Ah ok. Did you try asking the people there to fix it? Sometimes they can if they know what they are doing.
Yeah sometimes they can make it a little better but for the most part they just say that the machine is old so you gotta just use more force or something like that. ---
