I never liked being called Kenny. One of my best friends is named Ken. As a teen, we all called him Kenneth, but from his thirties forward (45 now), he has gone by Ken. He would likely murder anyone who calls him Kenny. See, it was somewhere around my early 30's where I changed my preference to Kenneth. I am now 42.
